Capacitor Discharge Welding Machine operates on the principle of capacitor discharge. Controlled voltage charges the capacitor & capacitor discharges through pulse transformer & welding takes place in millisec. Hydraulic pressure is given to job for welding. The required input power for charging capacitor bank is less. This results in saving of 5 to 10 times KVA demand as compared to AC Resistance welding machines. The job should be clean & plain surface.
